SEL through
STEM

How to Combine STEM and SEL for Students Success

Learn how to teach STEM through SEL, and vice-versa.

Discover how to use forms, function, cause and effect, force, and motion in the physical and social-emotional development of young children.

Make Sense of STEM in sensory, motor, imaginative, and social-emotional learning.

In a very dynamic and hands-on setting (singing water bowls, pots, ropes, clothes hangers, sticks, building blocks, squash balls), participants are going to actively explore the role of oscillation, the work of simple machines, the math and the pace of development within mind and body between the age of 2 and 8.

While attending Embodied Learning virtual workshop, the gears in my mind were turning, inspired, and creating. Tommaso’s enthusiasm is captivating and I’m so excited to learn how I will apply what I’ve learned to not only my virtual work with children, but to my practice in the classroom.
