EMBODIED LEARNING for HEALTH and ELDERLY CARE
Our body is the most powerful social and emotional sense organ we have.
Embodied Learning uses movement, sensory perception, and nonverbal communication to simplify communication hurdles and challenging interactions between teams of professional caregivers, informal caregivers who may be a family member or friend, and older adults who are receiving care.
Our training sessions are fun, very dynamic, and entirely hands-on. We emphasize the power of play with simple objects in order to carry forward impactful metaphorical messages and functions that result in better team communication and ultimately, care for our aging population.
