Embodied Learning and Educators’ Behavior
November 30, 2017 – The “Map Your Behavior” Issue.
Welcome!
It’s time to invest in self-awareness.
As announced in the October newsletter, I wrote a supplement to my Edutopia article about helping educators who work with challenging early childhood students to recognize and avoid their unwittingly negative attention while teaching.
There, I answer the numerous comments and questions educators, friends, and passionate readers left on Edutopia and Edutopia’s Facebook page.
Furthermore, I present in full my exercise for educators on gaining self-awareness within a prepared learning environment by using elements of my Embodied Learning educator training method: rediscovering movement, sensory orientation, breathing.
Enjoy The ‘Responding to Disruptive Students’ Supplement!
